Sydney 2008 was called monkeygate it should've been bucknorgate the number of shocking dismissals he had against India - and against Ponting too one of them I think - ironically if india had been supportive of the dRS then they would've been able to mitigate the impact of those bad decisions - that test I guess pushed bcci into agreeing for it later
Good article. When I was training to be an umpire, we were reminded that so many of the correct decisions which umpires make, are owing to the mistake of someone else on the cricket field (the batter), and that always stuck with me to keep things in perspective.
I always loved being an umpire, especially in minor league games. There is no DRS and a decision would cost you your ride home XD.
