Leslie Hylton was a worrying case of rebel and class, but in a deeply fractured social sense. Hylton is the only Test cricketer to be executed for murder. The Jamaican right-arm fast seamer and aggressive lower-order batsman was a sensation in his first Test in January 1935 against RES Wyatt’s MCC in their winter tour of the West Indies. The story that follows was horrific from every angle. https://dropinpitch.wordpress.com/2016/01/26/tragic-story-of-leslie-hylton/

Remember Fire in Babylon when Colin Croft said that the Rebel Tours and World Series Cricket were morally equivalent? The Rebel Tour matches are treated as First Class and List A games but the World Series Cricket Super Tests and ODIs aren't similarly treated as First Class and List A games. I wish Cricket Australia and the WICB would allow these games to be given equal status with the Rebel Tours if the Rebel Tours are going to be given official status.
