Very well written. Perfectly encapsulated the emotions of all Indian test cricket fans.

Great piece as always. The one thing I heard about the Aussies was that they didn't give up. The Gabba sledge (or nonsense) just proved it wrong. They ceded defeat before the game was over.

You along with Siddharth Monga are my favorite cricket writers by a country mile. I love how you lace your blogs with witty one liners while maintaining the common theme throughout.

"India's tour has been like a never-ending Sylvia Plath poem.", you sir, keep winning.

You are a bloody prophet Jarrod. India actually did it. They won and you called it. It has been that kind of series, hasn't it? The script has been ripped to shreds and eaten by the family pet before the pet was kicked out the window.

TEST CRICKET...YOU BLOODY BEAUTY!

First reaction: Wow! (experiencing a bit of emotion and tightening of throat)

2nd Reaction: How much should this guy love cricket to articulate all this beautifully?

Players do their thing. Writers help spectators fall in love with it....

Lovely Jarrod! This is becoming a ritualistic thing for me to read your blogs after end of day's play. I do wonder how could you possibly pen it down so quickly after the game? 😅

Another great piece Jarrod. Our team is a damn infirmary and on day five the fear of losing players to injuries was far more than the fear of losing wickets.

"Star all-rounder gets caught at a strip club at 7 am the morning of a game." ---- I wonder where do we find the Lou Williams and James Hardens of the cricketing world.

Love this Jarrod. As a professional weaver of compelling yarns, do you feel there is such a thing as too many threads? I mean this series (and the reaction to it) , hell this match alone, there is so much to digest and make sense of, and thats before we start talking about the pandemic.
