Great article - as always

If Shadul Thakur wasn't man-of-the-match I'll go hee! 2 match-winning cameos plus 3 wickets. Forget his one bad over. Who picks these MOTM? Obviously batsmen? My boy Jasprit did it again what a bowler! Thanks Jarrod. Yes, 3 - 1 coming up.

I'd like to preface this comment by saying I believe its not shameful to be dropped from the side, given the level of variety in pitches and the disproportionate importance of the most recent data points (aka form/opp. form). Players have their unique strengths, that synergize differently with different geolocations and oppositions/team comps, and not being the right person for a specific job is not the worst thing.

Given that the most productive batters are (in order) Root, India's 1, 2, 3, and 4, and also Rahane's recent lack of comfort with the new ball and even the 'batting collapse new ball', does it make sense to replace him with an opener who can slide down, like Mayank Agarwal? (yes, over SKY)

I'd still pick Rahane over him somewhere like South Africa, or Australia, (really anywhere but England and India), but do you guys think this would be a situational advantage despite Agarwal never having played in ENG?
